Devlog #9, 10 and 11 - The team leader is forgetful

(Team Leader here, I thought I forgot one devlog, not two, ADHD is fun. Sorry for being silent for so long).

Hello everybody, it's the Paper Park team here, and the past six weeks have been eventful at times, and quiet at others (because they were eventful in other areas for the group).

So we did end up restructuring the bibles and documentation as we had outlined, and it turned out great, and it's easier than ever to access information. Everything is neatly organized. We're still finishing some details so we won't share just now, but we're looking forward to giving you insight into the game's development.

One of our artists, Nuno, has figured out a way to color Kiri, which as you can see on the gameplay video on our page, has been monochrome up until now, and it's looking great. He found a tool so only one frame has to be colored, and the others are filled in. And the result is this amazing, water-color painting looking sprite. Here's a GIF of it:

Work has been going on slowly behind the scenes on programming, the boss and HUD design, but more slowly, because it's been the end of the college semester so everyone was busy. Even Carlos, who is unemployed had a jam going on through the month. Everyone had tests and exams or MOJO. Montra de Jogos is a games showcase that happens every year at Taguspark where students of the Methodology of Game Development course (and guests) present their games. Sadly, Paper Park could not have a presence as everyone was either gone on vacation, having exams, or already showcasing/helping out at MOJO, so no one could be at the booth.

I wish we could tell you more, but stuff has just been hectic, but with summer coming, the chaos will subside and people will get into a different rhythm. We really want to get a lot of progress done in these free months.

We'll see you two weeks from now to let you know how we're doing. This is the Paper Park Team, signing off!
